Meeting called to order by President Kottwitz and the agenda was displayed. Introductions of attendees and new officers were made and John Bernal discussed the financial report.

Bernal explained that we need additional funds as the meeting just held cost approx. $1,500.00. With 2 more meetings, we are seeking new members to add to our totals, as well as enlarge to supplier side.

President Kottwitz brought all up to date on what the suppliers side is trying to accomplish, that of becoming a stand alone organization as well as being one of the 3 wheels, joining Surface and Underground.

Vice President Henderson introduced the temporary logo, depicting a saloon with horse in front and told the attendees that we are seeking a new and separate logo for the supplier side. The saloon was just an idea and that he would like other ideas. Discussion was mixed as some in attendance liked the wheels and saw no need to establish a separate look while some liked the idea to separate ourselves. In the end, it was decided that the discussion will continue at the next meeting and that all ideas shall be presented then.

Bob Frayser, Co-Chair on the Surface side came in to demonstrate the web site. Bob explained that the suppliers have not used the site and that it offers a number of good selling points when seeking new members. Discussions were centered on what the suppliers wanted as well as what the miners wanted to see. It was decided that we would have another meeting where Bob could actually run the site and walk us all through. May 5^th was picked for this meeting and all suppliers were invited to come and give their views.

General discussion was then held talking about past members and what we can do a a group to pull them back in. VP Henderson told the group that we will not be having a booth at this years Elko Expo, and instead will have signs for all members who have booths at the Expo, signifying that they are members.

President Kottwitz thanked all who attended and the next meeting, aside from web site meeting will be decided as soon as the officers pick a date for general meeting.
